Co-Founder - Clhub

Giovanni is the co-founder of Clhub, Venture incubator based in Sardinia with main focus in clean tech and ioT.
He started his career in finance as Analyst in London working for a Scandinavian private equity firm, and worked as consultant also in Switzerland and California.

He graduated in business management at University of cagliari and earned his master degree in Entrepreneurship at UCLA in Los Angeles.

Today Giovanni is also board member and CFO of Veranu and Autentico, two startups where he has invested through Clhub.

Co Founder, Clhub

Clhub is a venture incubator that has as its primary investment focus the Made in Italy, both in the digital sector and in the classic sectors such as food and design.
Headquartered in Capoterra, a few steps from the sea and from Cagliari, and in Santa Monica (California), Clhub is the only Italian incubator created through the participation of American private investors.

Clhub aims at the qualified development of startups in Italy, which is why it supports startups with an incubation program that starts from the idea and project up to the company establishment and launch on the market.

The incubation program includes a cash-on-hand investment and various services, including spaces within its facilities (over 400 square meters), mentorship, networking, fundraising and much more.

CFO, Autentico

Autentico srl develops innovative hardware and software products in the anti-counterfeiting and product logistics sector using RfId technologies.
It consists of figures with a strong technical background and 10 years of experience in the Research & Development sector applied to industry.
It owns the two authentic chain solutions (RfId technology) and authentic nfc (NFC technology) respectively for product logistics and anti-counterfeiting.

The authentic vision regards RfId technology as the future of logistics and anti-counterfeiting. It develops authentic and authentic NFC solutions that, after a period of testing and testing, have become complete and efficient.

Board Member and Chief Financial Officer, Veranu

Veranu is a project that since 2012, has been working towards the creation of a new product that generates alternative energy, and has since become a reality.

The idea aims to create an innovative technology that can be installed in any kind of floor, with the ability to generate clean electricity by simply walking on the smart tiles. The smart tiles are constructed with market available plastic materials available and are completely recyclable.

The smart floor was conceived through innovative thinking through the perception of not seeing it as a passive object, but an active instrument capable of generate green energy. The materials used for its construction include polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the most common plastic material, particularly known for its use in bottling beverages.

The UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Summer Entrepreneurship Institute focuses on the development and management of business ventures. The program also emphasizes the development of new business ventures including fundraising, business plans, financing and entity structure.
