“An increasing number of projects, an ever increasing quality of participating investors, and greater media coverage around the event, brought this Made in Italy 22.214.171.124 edition to be the most ambitious of all”. (Simone Cimminelli, CEO iStarter)
As anticipated by our CEO on the eve of last Made in Italy 126.96.36.199, the third London edition has been the most ambitious and full of interesting novelty.
Investors reacted enthusiastically about the showcase of the selected projects and about the new event’s format. The plan has changed: having removed the pitch presentation in front of the entire investors’ audience, round tables have been introduced, where Scale-ups and Investors had the possibility to discuss closely. Compared to the last edition, the number of projects and investors almost doubled.
Made in Italy 188.8.131.52 in numbers:
- 16 selected projects (Amicomed, D-Heart, D-Orbit, U-Earth, Your.MD, Borsadelcredito.it, Casavo, Conio, Satispay, VirtualB, Bidoo, Foorban, MAAM, Kippy, SonicJobs, Wetipp)
- 3 selected sectors (Fintech, Digital Lifestyle, and Hard Science)
- 50 participating investors with an aggregated AUM of circa €2 billion
- 9 journalists covering the event
- 161 round tables organised
- 87 one-to-one meeting between CEO’s and investors
Here you can find the one pager of the 16 scale-ups, in order to get a closer look at the selected projects participating to the London event.
If you want to know the full list of Investors and Funds participating to the event you can consult the following official presentation.
Made in Italy 184.108.40.206 III London Edition also had great mediatic impact: several prestigious national newspapers wrote about the event. If you want to learn more about the media coverage about the event please have a look at our official Medium page here.
The format and the language of Made in Italy 220.127.116.11 are constantly evolving thanks above all to the suggestions of the partner base, to the feedbacks of the CEOs and those of the investors. We are currently preparing to organise the new Made in Italy of New York and we would also like to hear your voice.
Do you have feedbacks, questions, suggestion for us? What has been the strength of our format and what would you change?
And what about NY? Do you have any idea, suggestion or contact?
