Diana Kam is a venture partner with Decacorn Capital, a cross-border venture funding initiative that curates technology-led, game changing businesses from around the world such as Space-X, Palantir and recently IPO companies Lyft & Postmates. Leveraging her global networks built during her 15 years of corporate executive, management consulting days and now in venture capital, Diana is responsible for fund-raising, investor relations as well as deal origination. Diana speaks in and moderates panels all over the world on technology, startup ecosystems and investments. Based in Shanghai and Singapore, Diana also sits on the leadership team of AngelVest group. Diana will also be the moderator of MII2020 SHANGHAI 2019.
Based in Shanghai, Nicolas du Cray is a Partner at Cathay Innovation, in charge of the activities of the fund in China. Prior to joining Cathay Innovation in 2016, Nicolas was a Venture Partner at Iris Capital, a global venture capital investor sponsored by Orange and Publicis, in charge of the fund’s investments in China. Prior to joining Iris Capital in 2012, Nicolas was an Investment Director at Orange Capital in Beijing, and prior to that, a Senior Project Manager at Orange Labs (Beijing), that he joined as a founding member in 2004. Prior to that, Nicolas worked for France Telecom’s Representative Office in Beijing. Nicolas is also a member of AngelVest group in Shanghai.
Richard Chen is the Head of China for Vitruvian Partners, the largest European Growth Equity Fund. Previously before joining Vitruvian, Richard Chen was running his own family office Yifei Investment Holdings which made investments round the world including Farfetch, GoEuro, Classpass, Flexport etc.
Calvin Ng is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor with many good successes on his belt (Digital Hollywood 2017: HKE 2022 / Retech2017: ASX:RTE). Today Calvin manages a $200 million blockchain and innovation fund (Plutus Ventures) which invested into many blockchain and technology Companies worldwide. He sits on the board of 2 online games start-up, an ecommerce Company and an entertainment fashion commerce Company in China. Calvin has extensive experience in the digital media, social networking, online games and gaming space. His past includes consultant to SULAKE *Habbo.com (world largest teens virtual world). He was also the Vice President of CITIC PACIFIC (*SEHK0627) and CITIC TELECOM 1616 (*IPO-2007: SEHK1883) responsible for their new strategy and new media development. Prior Calvin was part of the team that successfully clinched the deal for World of Warcraft in China in partnership with THE 9 (*IPO-2004: NCTY) and also developed China 1st digital comics magazine and 3G comics on mobile. In 2007 Calvin won 3rd place in China Entrepreneur Competition (he was the only foreigner to have won a top placing till today).
Annie Fan, Eagles Fund Partner Managing Partner invests in AI, Robotics, Fintech and other technology projects with a side interest in health and consumption upgrades projects. More than 20 years of product design and marketing experience, formerly Ericsson, Dell and Huawei global executives and Xiao-i vice president. With deep expertise in robotics, she is currently responsible for business development, partnerships and alliances for Xiao-i. She was the co-founder of KEIRETSU FORUM, the largest angel association of the United States, the founding partner of Qule Investment, LPs of several funds & angel investor of Sophia the robot (Hanson Robotics). Annie is also a member of Angelvest group in Shanghai.
Sebastien’s career has been dedicated to healthcare and new businesses. After his masters in pharmaceutical and commercial sciences, Sebastien worked twelve years in Sanofi, held various business development and marketing positions across multiple therapeutic areas and geographic markets. Early 2011, he came to China and held a management role for Sanofi Diabetes China. In 2014, Sebastien founded CareVoice, a Shanghai-based start-up, transforming healthcare experience to be more consumer-centric. Thanks to its successful pivot into health insurtech with its unique mobile-based SaaS solution creating an engaging ecosystem that puts consumers at the centre of the fast-growing Chinese health insurance sector, CareVoice now unleashes value for insurance companies to become true health partners of their insured members. More recently, after soft-launching with Ping An the first health benefit and insurance for startups in China, Sebastien co-founded StartupCare a new insurtech dedicated to insurance and benefits for startups so that entrepreneurs and their teams can devote their energy to successfully grow their businesses! Angelvest invested in CareVoice in 2017.
