Sergio was on the board of directors and he is an equity partner at iStarter.

Since April 2013, Sergio has been an associate member of Action Institute, working on a personal and pro-bono basis.

This independent economic policy think-tank works closely with government institutions and makes policy recommendations, leveraging a group of world-class professionals and professors. At Action institute, Sergio served as an associate, supporting two groups of experts working on a systemic credit enhancement proposal to restart the flow of credit to SMEs in Italy and on a Fund of Fund proposal to boost venture capital in Europe.

Moreover, Sergio has been project manager in a wide range of internal projects and initiatives, with direct report to the president. Previously, Sergio served as finance analyst of Techint Industrial Corporation S.p.A., being involved in several international corporate projects. He started his career with an internship at KPMG, working for the Banking & Finance practice in the Milan-based firm of the network. Sergio graduated magna cum laude in Law and Business Administration at Bocconi University. In 2010, he was an exchange student at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.

In his spare time, Sergio loves to contribute to causes that he believes in, such as the Fondazione RUI Nicaragua Work-camp with which he participated in the construction of an elementary school for the local children. Passionate about start-ups, Sergio federated iStarter in the Italia Start-up community and is a business advisor for Shoozy, a small venture in the fashion industry.
